Sunset Essay

Dusk falls. Slowly at its own pace, it creeps across the sky.

The firmament blooms in the smoothest gradient of lemon yellow, orange, crimson, and amber, spreading over the cerulean as if successfully invading the endless stretch of blanket over the globe. The golden, sizzling orb in the sky is being swallowed by the western horizon by the second. The sky is ablaze by the fire of the setting sun: it is ethereal. The shade of the sky becomes more and more concentrated as the blazing fireball dips itself into it even further.

It finally meets the water, casting a glistening reflection of its rays across the vast bale of velvet, from which evoke, or rather swell, heightened waves, looking like white creases on the sunlit waterbody, cascading onto the shore. Reverberating through the sand is the sound of the waves gushing through the tremendous expanse of sand that crackles under the footsteps of those sauntering.

While some sprawled figures enjoy their time basking under the invincible heat of the setting sun, some immerse themselves in the warmth of the water. It is a spectacular panorama of sights; from the flaming orb to the wide extent of the enlivened sea and the evening firmament.

Idyllic, it makes one feel comforted, embraced, astounded, and most overwhelmed to be greeted by such a gem of a spot. The sky is now occupied by the prussian blue of the evening. the oranges are melting over to the blues, succumbing themselves to the tranquility of the night. Yes, dusk has fallen.
